Sometimes Atlantis Community, Inc. may not have the resources, programs, or staff necessary to help in a particular situation—whether that’s due to funding constraints, limitations of our Independent Living programs, or a lack of training/knowledge (for example: we do not have anyone on staff qualified to give legal advice or provide legal services). However, that does not mean we cannot still be useful to you! Even when there is nothing we can personally do, we still have the information and networking necessary to connect people with the programs and services that they need out in the community. Whether you’re looking to purchase a new wheelchair or trying to find apartment that is affordable and accessible, Atlantis may be able to help guide you in the right direction.

A Precious Child

A Precious Child is devoted to making a positive impact in the lives of disadvantaged and displaced children and families in Colorado by improving their quality of life. We provide basic essentials to children in need to empower them to succeed in school. Essentials include: clothing, coats, shoes, sports equipment, backpacks, school supplies, and toiletries.

Almost Home Inc.

Almost Home's mission is to promote self-sufficiency and provide assistance to those experiencing housing instability.

Established in 1993, Almost Home, Inc. has provided services to those in need in Adams County and Southern Weld Counties for over 25 years, making it one of the oldest non-profit organizations in Brighton, Colorado. In that time, we have assisted over 45,000 individuals with more than 23,000 of those individuals being children and provided over $2.8 million in direct assistance funds. In addition, since 1996 we have provided over 51,600 nights of shelter to local homeless families in need.

Almost Home's services includes a family emergency homeless shelter with the ability to house up to six families, bilingual case management and referrals, rent and mortgage assistance, utilities assistance (electric, heat and water) and additional resources to help our clients work towards self-sufficiency.

Friends of Man

Friends of Man was founded in 1982 as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit public charity with a double mission:
To provide assistance to people of all ages who have genuine needs but can’t find help elsewhere, who ‘fall through the cracks’ of available charitable or governmental resources. To provide help to maintain self-sufficiency in times of difficulty, as well as assisting with disability and medical needs.
To provide the donor with the opportunity to have 100% of his/her donation used for direct charitable assistance, with no money taken out for administrative cost and expenses. Friends of Man an all-volunteer charity with no one receiving a salary or any kind of compensation.

Joshua Station

"Joshua Station is a faith-based community helping families make the transition from homelessness to a healthy, stable living environment. Since 2001, Joshua Station has provided long-term tranformational housing and support for high-risk families with multiple barriers to self-sufficiency."
