Colorado Gives Day 2022

Colorado gives day is December 6th and we are attempting to raise funds for a Disability History and Pride Mural and Peer Support Program. We have raised over $13,000 and are $15,000 away from our goal.

The project is focused on educating youth on disability history and advocacy, and to exemplify the diverse culture of the disability community which includes the BIPOC community as well as the LGBTQA community.

Throughout this process, it is our intention to engage youth with disabilities in the creative process. In a 3-part workshop series, young artists will discuss, inform and create art reflecting their ideas, demands, and offerings to the future of disability justice. Round table conversations will include residents and community leaders as well as having a support system through their peers and artists that will mentor them.
