Deaf Gamers You NEED To Follow – Ewok & More! (American Sign Language) | Rikki Poynter
While many deaf gamers on Twitch have succeeded at becoming affiliate, Ewok was the first deaf gamer who, at only 13 years old, skyrocketed in follower numbers and became a partner. This got the attention of many news outlets especially after she officially joined Faze, an esports team. She was not only the first deaf person to do so, but also the first girl.
Ewok is now definitely the most well known deaf gamer on Twitch, but she is not the only one. In this video, I will be sharing other older and newer deaf gamers on the platform.
This week we will be joined by John Reid, a Physical Education Teacher and Adaptive Sports Advocate. John’s mission in life is to teach ALL individuals how to be healthy and active for a lifetime. Contact email@example.com for more information.
